Achievement Prep is an award-winning public charter school committed to preparing students in grades 4-8 to excel as high achieving scholars and leaders in high school, college and beyond. Achievement Prep is now accepting applications for students entering 4th or 5th grade for the 2012-2013 school year. The application process is open from January 2, 2012 through April 2, 2012. All applications must be received electronically. Please apply online at our website by clicking here. If you need assistance in completing the online application, please call us at 202-562-1214 or visit our Main Office located at 908 Wahler Place, SE, Washington, DC, and someone from our staff will help you.
Applications received between January 2, 2012 and April 2, 2012 will be included in the Achievement Prep Lottery, which will be held on April 3, 2012. Applications received after April 3, 2012, will be placed at the end of the waiting list in order of receipt.
Achievement Prep is a free public charter school open to all District of Columbia residents of every race, ethnicity, home language, and disability level. If there are more applications for admission than there are spaces available, students will gain admission on the basis of a lottery. Click here for more information about our lottery procedures.

Achievement Prep will host group and individual tours and information sessions throughout the winter and spring of 2012. RSVP’s are required.
